Cookie Dough Party!

The Gordon-Nash Library News
Cookies!

Everyone loves cookies for the holidays, right?

However, they are a lot of work and the ingredients can be pricey.
Well, The Gordon-Nash Library is here to help out!
We are having a Cookie Dough Fundraiser!

You order any number (the more the merrier!) of cookie dough and not does your holiday planning become easier but you do a good deed and help out the library at the same time.
We do need your help and YOU do need cookies!

Stop by the library and sign up now—before your time runs out.
Here are the great flavors you can buy:
Snickerdoodle (lovely cinnamon),
Chunky Chocolate Chip,
Oatmeal Raisin (the “healthy choice”),
White Chocolate Cranberry Oatmeal
(who wouldn’t eat a ton of these?),
Triple Chocolate (can we say “death by chocolate?”),
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut (who can stand it?),
and Lemon Drop (for tea time).

The frozen cookie dough is shipped directly to your home! The Cookie Dough fundraiser will end on November 22nd.

Health Insurance! Remember if you have questions about the Affordable Care Act and if you need health insurance you should not miss the next informational meeting at the Gordon-Nash Library on November 19th at 6:30.  A very informed navigator from Mid-State Health Center will be here to answer your questions and to set up appointments to guide you through the process.
November 20th the New Hampton Historical Society presents:
“Stories of Our Town”  Many old-timers were interviewed by the New Hampton Historical Society to record their stories about life in the New Hampton community over the years. Four elder residents from New Hampton will share their stories.
Yoga continues on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. and we need students for that time period if we are to continue.  The other class, which is filling up nicely, takes place on Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30.  This is a great class for anyone who wishes to remain limber. Yoga is great for any age, gentle and helpful for overall health.
Knitting Groups continue on Thursdays, one group in the morning (10:30 to 12:30) and one in the evening (6:30 to 8:00).
Children’s Story Time continues on Thursdays from 10:45 to 11:45 and from 12:45 to 1:45. We are deep in Fall now—stories to be revealed!
